Where to find the finest flat whites and sensational single origin brews at independent coffee bars around the city
Hong Kong's coffee scene has come a long way in the last few years, with plenty of independently owned cafés cropping up in every neighbourhood from the island to Kowloon, and from east to west. While the list below may not be exhaustive, these are several of our recent favourites and worthy of supporting.
1. Artista Perfetto, Causeway Bay
We love this small coffee joint for its neighbourhood vibes, even if it's located just minutes away from one of Hong Kong's busiest wet markets. The espresso-based drinks are flawlessly made, and you can even pick up bottles of cold brew (you can bring your empty bottle back to the store for a refill) and locally made craft beers.
3a Sharp Street West, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong
