The season's best Japanese Shine Muscat grapes are now available in three unique cocktails

Japan's finest fruits continue to make an appearance on The Aubrey's dynamic menu of cocktails. Sample the latest seasonal menu of premium cocktails concocted by Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong’s beverage manager Devender Sehgal and team, this time featuring Japanese Shine Muscat grapes.

With a fragrant aroma and large yellow-green berries, the Japanese Shine Muscat grape is known for its distinct flavour and low acidity. This most famed varietal has been cultivated in Japan only since the late 1980s. Since then, Shine Muscat grapes have become a luxury Japanese product that is grown, packaged and sold as a premium fruit. It is highly prized for its large grape size, crisp, juicy flesh, and high sugar content, which contributes to a sweet, pleasing taste.

As we enter into a cooler season, The Aubrey’s bar team introduce three unique cocktails—the Muscat Gin Fizz, a tall refreshing cocktail; the Seductive Muscat, a twist on a Bee’s Knees style of cocktail made with a hint of Umeshu; and the Nagano, a gin sour with a hint of spiciness and floral notes of sweet potato Shochu. Each cocktail is priced at HK$180 and available at The Aubrey from now until late November.
