Kuala Lumpur’s Coley And Pahit Make It To Asia’s Best Bars' Inaugural 51–100 List
With only seven days before the official announcement of Asia's 50 Best Bars, the list unveils, for the first time ever, bars ranked 51-100. This meticulous ranking features bars from 22 cities across 12 countries, and Kuala Lumpur is featured twice on this extended list.
With the aim of supporting as many business as possible during these trying times, this extended ranking is designed to shine the spotlight on more bars than ever before. "As guests begin planning their next bar experiences, this extended list will provide double the choice of exceptional, expert-approved drinking destinations for the months and years ahead," shares Mark Sansom, content editor for The World’s 50 Best Bars.
Coming in at number 58 is Coley, located in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. This establishment was founded by one of Kuala Lumpur's leading bartenders, CK Kho, and was also featured in last year's Asia's 50 Best Bars at number 48.
Kho's other establishment Pahit is ranked at number 78. Located in a nondescript part of Bukit Bintang, it makes its first appearance on Asia's 50 Best Bars.
Last year, Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur's Bar Trigona was the highest ranked Malaysian bar while JungleBird in Damansara Heights was ranked at number 37. Find out if they make it to the Top 50 list again when the list is announced on May 6 at 6pm (MYT) on The World’s 50 Best Bars Facebook page and 50 Best Bars TV YouTube channel.
