Nana Chan’s sister shop to the popular Teakha rekindles our love for artisanal teas and the art of brewing

Working from home is a great way to start a new interest in food–from baking sourdough to honing your cooking skills. While many of us are beginning to experiment with creating barista-level coffee at home, Plantation Hong Kong is launching a monthly tea subscription service this May, introducing its wide range of artisanal brews to fans and tea lovers.

The new tea subscription service is by Nana Chan’s Plantation, the sister cafe to the wildly popular Teakha, and is more than just an introduction to the brand’s collection of rare teas, which are harvested year-round in small batches. As part of each month’s subscription, guests will receive 60 grams of three to four types of tea, as well as a monthly "TeaZine" newsletter containing information about the featured teas, instructions on brewing and discount offers. Subscribers also get access to a live stream tutorial instructing how to brew, fully enjoy and understand teas.

Plantation’s TeaLetter subscription runs for three, six, and 12-month intervals starting in June 2020 and is priced at HK$230 per month. Guests placing orders on or before April 25 can enjoy a complimentary Mother’s Day pack in time for May. For more information, see Plantation’s website.
