Asia Tatler checks out 4 gourmet beer joints where you can dine with a pint
The prevalence of joints in Singapore where you can enjoy a beer makes perfect sense - after all, sometimes the best way to cool down in the heat is simply with a pint of ice cold beer. Going beyond the usual brands found in the uniquitous local coffeeshops, many beer joints now pride themselves on offering a mind-boggling array of international labels, and even craft beer. We sift through the options to present some classy establishments around town that not only serve up a tempting assortment of beers, but also offer some delicious grub to satisfy when the hunger pangs kick in.
RedDot BrewHouse

Nestled in the lush Dempsey area, RedDot BrewHouse provides a cosy, elegant ambience in which to sip on some quality craft beers, brewed with state-of-the-art equipment built by the owner and head brewer, Ernest Ng, himself. Ng has over 10 years of brewing experience, and some of the signatures at RedDot BrewHouse include the RedDot Lime Wheat, Czech Pilsner, and Summer Ale - the last having been specially crafted to enjoy in Singapore's humid climate. In the belief that good beer must be paired with excellent food, the menu at RedDot BrewHouse pulls its own weight with signature dishes of spicy linguini crab meat, beef burger, and the whisky chocolate melt cake.
