Your palates are in for a gastronomic treat, thanks to upcoming collaboration events that celebrate French and Italian cuisines. But if your cravings lean more towards Asian fare—say Chinese or Japanese—we’ve got options for you, too. Needless to say, the chefs took extra time and effort to make these menus, crafted from the best of nature’s bounty, worth every calorie.
1. Brasserie Gavroche
Paris is a long way from Singapore, but you can still savour hearty French classics at this four-hands dinner on May 8 and 9, featuring guest chef David Rathberger of Restaurant L’Assiette. Rathberger earned his stripes working for revered Alain Ducasse in his restaurants Louis XV in Monaco and Plaza Athénée in Paris, before striking on his own with one of the city’s most beloved bistros.
The 12-dish sharing menu features popular appetisers of beef tartare with oyster, and seabream ceviche sprinkled with green tomato jus and coriander. If you like these, you’ll also enjoy the entrées including a delightful casserole packed with slow-cooked pork ribs, pork sausage, duck confit and white beans, and monkfish cheeks blanquette-style, with sea urchin.
