It's an exciting time to dine out this week with exclusive dishes available for a limited period—one in particular created just for the Singapore Food Festival—as well as revamped menus crafted by our talented chefs.
You’ll never look forward to cheat day this much, now that the Cheesy Mac Attack is back. A Singapore exclusive introduced last year for a limited period only, it’s a delicious combination of two popular indulgences—the cheeseburger and mac & cheese.
It starts with buns crafted with breaded mac & cheese and cooked to a delicate crisp while retaining its gooey, cheesy centre. In the middle is a juicy US Angus beef patty layered with smoky bacon, caramelised onions, fresh arugula and melted Swiss cheese, as well as a generous lashing of nacho cheese sauce. Available until August 31.

Fratelli Trattoria and Pizzeria
The changing of the seasons in Italy means a revamped menu at chefs Enrico and Roberto Cerea’s trattoria and pizzeria at Resorts World Sentosa. And while the brothers have stayed true to their family’s heritage recipes, using in-season ingredients, they've now decided to give them a modern update.
When dining at the trattoria, you will want to start with the gazpacho, a quintessential summer dish decorated with Mazara red prawns, vine tomatoes and heirloom carrots, and then with beef short ribs that have been slow-braised for 48 hours in port wine and served with ratte potato purée and buttered green beans. Other than the pizzas at the pizzeria, look forward to the handmade ravioli stuffed with pork and savoy cabbage and served with a creamy polenta sauce.
Get a head start on the Singapore Food Festival (July 12-28) celebrations at this popular ramen joint, which is serving a locally-inspired chilli crab ramen, created in collaboration with No Signboard Seafood, that's available until August 12.
It’s the best of both worlds—Singapore and Japan—characterised by an umami-packed tonkotsu broth and signature noodles, topped with crab, half-boiled egg, shredded black fungus, and fragrant spring onions. Mantou buns are served on the side, perfect for soaking up all the flavours. Available only at the Mandarin Gallery and Marina Bay Sands outlets.

A leisurely weekend afternoon tea always sounds good. Even better, a sumptuous floral-inspired afternoon tea crafted by pastry chef Audrey Yee.
The three-tiered offering is an assembly of sweets and savouries, the likes of herb finger sandwiches, a selection of quiche, lavender scones and brown sugar shortbread to have with homemade strawberry-rose preserve and Devonshire clotted cream.
Finish with a fragrant selection that include yuzu elderflower meringue tarte, candied violet macaron, and sakura blossom puff with strawberry, among others. Choose from a selection of floral teas to complete the experienece, or perhaps a refreshing Kir Royale cocktail.
Executive chef Dickson Fung's new menu boasts quite a selection of meat dishes, from St. Louis-style barbecue pork ribs, marinated in a concoction of barbecue sauce, orange juice, honey, jalapeno and herbs and braised for two hours, to an Australian wagyu striploin, seasoned simply with pink Himalayan salt and herbs before it’s cooked to smoky perfection.
Equally hearty meat-free options are on the menu such as pan-seared salmon on creamy mashed potatoes, spinach sautéed with garlic and topped with sun-dried tomatoes, as well as popular favourites such as codfish hor fun, and vongole pasta tossed with scallops and prawns or chicken.
