1. Dolce Vita

The city skyline views from this popular spot is the perfect backdrop to an exclusive five-course dinner this Valentine’s Day. Beautiful flavours abound in dishes like the risotto e uova, studded with Tsarskaya oyster, Oscietra caviar and bottarga. It also features roasted dry-aged duck breast amplified with bright notes of wild berry jus, butternut squash and lavender flowers.

Dessert is seldom an afterthought, and guests should look forward to having the Lampone, an almost-too-pretty-to-eat assembly of raspberry cremeux, fig marmalade, red fruit and cocoa soil and peach sorbet. Have the meal with the optional wine pairing, which is how most Italians prefer it.

Available on February 14.

2. Table Restaurant & Bar

The India Street Food Specialties, a food event which debuted in August last year, was a huge success that the folks at Table decided to bring it back this year. Come here on weekends and enjoy signature delicacies from cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Amritsar, Ahmedabad and Jaipur.

Expect the return of hits like Jaipur’s Pink City Raj Kachori, a crispy puff loaded with lentils, yoghurt and chutney, and Mumbai’s Tad Deo Pao Bhajee, which are patties of mashed vegetables sandwiched between two savoury buns.

4. Shake Shack

Good news, burger lovers. You don’t have to go all the way to Jewel Changi Airport to dine at Shake Shack. Its second outlet on Neil Road has finally opened, bringing its signature favourites closer to the city.

Naturally, the signatures are part of the menu, most notably the ShackBurger, made with Angus beef, melted cheddar cheese, lettuce and tomatoes, served crisp crinkle-cut fries. But what’s more exciting is the exclusive new addition: the Chick’n Shack, which boasts antibiotic-free chicken breast cooked in buttermilk marinade and fried to a crisp. It’s stacked with shredded lettuce, pickles and a flavour-packed buttermilk herb mayo. What's not to love?

Let the staff take care of all your needs, starting with the Hokkaido scallop carpaccio that's brightened with zesty notes of lime juice, lime zest and extra virgin olive oil. The main event is grilled Sanchoku Waygu served with a slightly spicy Vadouvan pumpkin puree.

The meal comes with a complimentary bottle of wine or champagne and floral bouquet.
