Two-Michelin-starred fine dining restaurant Arbor combines seasonal Japanese ingredients and refined Nordic sensibilities to create sharp, bright flavours, establishing itself as a coveted destination for the city’s epicures. On this special occasion, lovebirds are invited to join chef-owner Eric Räty for a romantic feast, as he will present an exclusive red-themed Valentine’s menu using an array of seasonal produce sourced mainly from Japan, including eel, Mochida tomato, tuna, lobster, pigeon and wagyu beef and strawberries, to create innovative dishes that leave your lover in awe.
Highlighted dishes include Mochida tomato from Fukuoka served with bonito vinegar jelly and Japanese Akagai clams, Ehime tuna served with horseradish and sudachi pickled cucumber, and a strawberry dessert crafted with fresh Japanese strawberry, strawberry-calpico sorbet, lime marshmallow and Yumepirika rice pudding and crispy rice.
Chef Eric has also curated a decadent pigeon foie gras pie for takeaway. The delight is good for two to four persons and comes with simple reheating instructions, allowing lovers to recreate a masterpiece with just a few simple steps in the luxury of their own kitchens.
