Led by a world-class sommelier, a nonconformist chef and a renowned restaurateur, Underground has been running pop-up dining experiences in the most unlikely of places
Harder to track than cartoon criminal Carmen Sandiego, the pop-up dining establishment simply known as Underground has a special knack for selecting the most unique of venues for their pop-ups. The series started at a heritage shophouse before segueing to several speakeasies and will run its final session of 2020 in one of Kuala Lumpur's icons: the KL Tower.
Throwback: An Underground Fine Dining Experience In An Undisclosed Venue
If the thought of pairing 360-degree views with 282-metre-high fine dining makes your pulse quicken, this experience is for you. The dinner will unfold at Atmosphere 360, the only revolving restaurant in the Klang Valley.
"It’s a huge production," says sommelier Alison Christ, who is one of the organisers. "Coordinating the artists, the wine, and the food has been a delicate dance, which is why, unless you RSVP via me, the event is closed to the general public."
