Some of the highlights at Impiana KLCC's Ramadan buffet: durian buffet, unlimited Baskin Robbins ice cream and Zam-Zam water.
The holy month of Ramadan month is just around the corner as we speak and plenty of Iftar promotions have surfaced all over town, including Tonka Bean Cafe's exciting buffet offerings.
This Ramadan, Impiana KLCC Hotel invites you to feast on the many delights from all over Malaysia to celebrate your 'buka puasa'. From fragrant biryani rice and assorted seafood curry to classic murtabaks and a durian station, you will not be disappointed by the delightful delicacies offered.
Priced at RM148 nett per person, the Ramadan buffet at Tonka Bean Cafe is available from 21st June to 13th July 2015 between 630PM to 10PM. There is also a special promotion on the first and last 3 days of Ramadan, where it is priced at only RM128 nett per person.

To start, each diner at Tonka will be served with a single glass of Zam-Zam water, which is transported directly from Mecca. Bearing great significance in the Islamic teachings, the water is also known for its health benefits, thanks to the higher concentration of magnesium salt, calcium and natural fluorides inside.
After your blissful drink of Zam-Zam water, head on to the 'Pembuka Rasa' station for a round of kerabu delights to whet the appetite. The choices are aplenty here and it includes Kerabu Taugeh, Kerabu Mangga Dan Sotong, Acar Rampai, Kerabu Kacang Panjang and more.
Our personal favourite is the Kerabu Mangga Dan Sotong, made with shreds of mangos with tender calamari rings and drenched with zesty sauce. It was refreshing and sure perked up our appetite.

The three types of biryani – chicken, beef and mutton – are a must-try. All three is packed with the right amount of spice with a tinge of sweetness from the use of raisins, making it the perfect partner to pair with the myriad of dishes available in the buffet spread.
The Gam Daging Biryani, made with beef, is our favourite, all thanks to its tender and soft shreds of beef that are perfectly seasoned to rid off its gamey flavours. To go with the aromatic rice, head on to the meat and seafood section for some spicy delights like Aneka Kari Lautan (assorted seafood curry) and Ayam Goreng Berempah (spiced chicken).

After a hefty feast of the rice and meat, calm your palate with lighter bites like Cucur Udang and Keropok Ikan. Be warned, these snack bites are highly addictive. When grabbing the fried bites, remember to get a dollop of its chilli sauce and soy with white radish sauce to enhance the snacking experience.
For dessert, you will get classic Malay cakes and desserts like Kuih Bingka Ubi and Cendol; and there's also a Baskin Robbins ice cream station with over 18 delicious flavours for you to choose from.

Alternatively, head over to the outdoor patio for a round of fresh fruits, cut and sliced on the spot to your liking. On top of the usual bananas, langsat, jackfruit and rambutan; Tonka Bean Cafe also offers an unlimited durian buffet for all Ramadan diners.
For durian lovers, this will truly be a wonderful experience as it's not often that you are served with durians at hotels!
