There’s no better time than autumn to enjoy the unctuous roe of seasonal freshwater crustaceans

This autumn, 10 Shanghai’s hairy crab dishes return via a brand new set menu that indulges guests with the best freshwater crustaceans and a selection of Shanghainese and Huaiyang dishes. The seasonal menu begins with an appetiser platter which consists of a series of 10 Shanghai signature treats such as roasted bran dough with peanuts and black fungus; smoked soft-boiled eggs with black truffle pears; and aged Shaoxing huadiao-brined chicken. Steamed whole hairy crabs follow the starters, together with baked stuffed crab shell with scallop and egg whites; crispy rice crackers with hairy crab roe and prawn; rice with hairy crab roe and abalone and glutinous dumplings in sweet ginger soup to complete the menu. 10 Shanghai’s seasonal hairy crab menu is priced at HK$788 per person. 1957 & Co. loyalty programme members can enjoy the menu at a 50 percent discount. Guests can sign up to join the loyalty programme on premise at the restaurant without additional cost. The seasonal exclusive hairy crab menu is available now until 10 December, 2020.
