Rollin launches its first outlet in the Landmark's Belowground, offering savoury rice rolls and roll cakes in addition to T-shirts and hoodies

Rollin is combining food and fashion for the launch of its first outlet in the basement of Landmark's new retail urban wear project, Belowground. A Korean food and lifestyle brand, Rollin' is spearheaded by Francesco Lee of Aberdeen Street's Moyo and Moyo Sik at Basehall.

It will be offering delicious savoury rice rolls and roll cakes served in stylish sneaker boxes. The gourmet rolls range from Asian to Western flavours including Korean fishcake and tofu roll, Mortadella sandwich and truffle beef rice roll.

But food isn't all you can get here. Rollin' is also launching a line of fashion products ranging from T-shirts, caps to hoodies. The team intends to expand this fashion space as they collaborate with different creative artists.

"We believe that food and fashion are key parts of today’s lifestyle, and we are thrilled to be included in Belowground, a forward-thinking cultural space, along with some amazing other residents," says Francesco.

Initially created as a lunch option for diners in Central, the menu merges the best of East and West influences with the addition of the shoebox packaging to highlight its fashion line. The creative packaging also allows for easy takeaways, especially during this pandemic.

Rollin's debut launch at Belowground is also significant as the new retail project from Landmark aims to build a link between luxury, fashion and culture.

"By bringing together forward-looking brands, retailers, and creative collaborators, Belowground aims to shape a future in which no boundaries exist between luxury, fashion, culture and art. Staying true to its core concept of acting as a ‘bridge’ to the community, Belowground has enlisted a host of collaborators and we are delighted to welcome Rollin and its creative mix of food and fashion to the mix," says Tom Andrews, assistant general manager at Hongkong Land.

Rollin's roll and roll cakes are available for take out at Belowground, basement, Landmark, Central from 11 am–8 pm, Monday to Sunday.
