Review: Nobu At Home Is Back
Introduced during the very first MCO in March 2020, Nobu At Home is Nobu Kuala Lumpur’s delivery menu that was crafted by executive chef Phillip Leong. Consisting of some of the restaurant’s signature dishes, Nobu At Home allows for convenient, affordable meals while retaining the highest quality upon delivery.
For the duration of the current CMCO, Nobu gives back to the community by offering a 30 per cent discount off their bill and free delivery for customers who live within a five kilometre radius. For customers within a 15 kilometre radius, there is a minimum spend of RM400 before being eligible for the discount.
Starters on the menu consist of a wide selection of fresh sushi, sashimi and salads. A recommendation for sushi lovers is the Sushi and Sashimi Bento Set, which comes with three pieces of sushi and six pieces of sashimi, alongside rice, miso soup, a side salad, Goma and Almond Cookies and Orange Macarons.
TATLER TIP: Nobu recommends consuming raw food within an hour of delivery.
Generously glazed with a sweet miso paste, the Black Cod Miso was definitely the highlight of the meal for this writer. Cooked to perfection, the fish was so succulent it barely fought our fork. Also recommended by the restaurant is the Japanese Wagyu with Nobu Sauces and the Lobster Wasabi Pepper Sauce. Hearty rice and noodle bowls are also featured, such as the Unagi Donburi and the Tempura Cha Soba.
If you’re looking for desserts to end your meal, you’ll be spoilt for choice by tantalising Cheesecakes, Harumaki or a Bento Box of sweet treats, complete with an oozing Chocolate Lava Cake. Nobu At Home is available from 12pm until 9pm daily.
