This New Year’s Eve, Island Shangri-La is offering a gastronomy-filled celebration for family and friends, presenting gourmet offerings in festive holiday menus and themed parties.
At Petrus, the hotel’s award-winning French fine dining establishment, the hotel’s executive chef Uwe Opocensky is presenting a 1970’s disco theme celebration with an eight-course dinner menu, showcasing dishes such as potato with caviar and sour cream; and smoked Japanese abalone with beurre blanc, best enjoyed at the restaurant’s 1970s disco theme countdown party, priced at HK$4,888 per person.
At Lobster Bar & Grill, guests can welcome the arrival of 2020 at the restaurant’s retro-themed party with trans-Pacific glamour with live band music. The six-course celebration dinner menu features notable dishes such as Alaskan king crab with heirloom tomatoes, avocado and oscietra caviar; Boston lobster with cauliflower, pistachio, and crustacean emulsion; and a sweet finish of Azelia chocolate 33% mousse, hazelnut crunch with lemon cream and vanilla ice cream. The Lobster Bar New Year’s Eve celebration party including its six-course dinner menu is priced at HK$2,988 per person, inclusive of a complimentary glass of champagne.
