The exclusive plant-based dinner will take place by candlelight

This coming March 28th, Peggy Chan, chef-founder of Grassroots Pantry and Nectar will be hosting her annual Earth Hour dinner for the eighth consecutive year.

The annual feast aims to raise awareness about Earth Hour, a global movement organised by the World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF) where households and communities are encouraged to turn off non-essential lights for an hour as a sign of commitment to the planet.

The five-course plant-based dinner will take place from 7:00pm to 10:00pm on Saturday, March 28, at Nature Discovery Park at K11 MUSEA. Chan will present her mostly raw and plant-based menu featuring seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients. Notable menu highlights include a faux-gras tart with smoked carrot teff blinis; cultured pine nut cheese cream with pickles; coconut squid with truffle; toasted rice ice cream; and Moringa mochi. The menu, inclusive of cocktail canapes, elixirs and natural wine pairing, is priced at HKD$1,980 per person with an additional 3% carbon tax.
