Congress at the Convention Centre in Wan Chai presents exquisite Okinawa delicacies at its dinner buffet
Okinawa, the southernmost prefecture in Japan, is famed for its fresh agricultural produce and seafood. From now until the end of April, Congress at HKCEC is presenting a series of Okinawa gourmet dishes incorporating these fine ingredients with the Okinawa culinary tour dinner buffet. Notable delicacies from the buffet table includes:
- Nakijin agu-pork shabu shabu
- salt-roasted saba
- grilled Pacific tiger prawn with awamori
- Okinawa goya noodles
- umibudo (sea grapes)
The buffet also includes a fine selection of Okinawa desserts such as waffle with Okinawa brown sugar syrup, Shiwasa citrus terrine, green tea dessert and more. Besides the gourmet delights, a fine selection of awamori, a distinctive Okinawa alcoholic beverage made from rice, will also be available. The dinner buffet is available daily from 6:30pm to 10pm and is priced at HK$448 per head.
