After a successful pop-up event at MO Bar in the summer of 2015 and the launch of its Singapore branch last year, New York City’s Employees Only speakeasy is returning to Hong Kong—permanently.

Founded by a group of five industry friends including Dushan Zaric, Henry Lafargue, Jason Kosmas, Bill Gilroy and Igor Hadziasmajlovic, Employees Only was a concept realised when the bunch met together at Keith McNally’s Pravda. Together they opened Employees Only in New York City in 2004, and eventually became known for its signature creative cocktails—such as their twist on The Manhattan—as well as an array of seasonally-inspired cocktails.

Tentatively opening in June, Employees Only Hong Kong will be located in Lan Kwai Fong and will continue the bar’s tradition of serving creative cocktails with contemporary American fare.
