Leong says he is happy to welcome guests back to Nobu Kuala Lumpur, which relocated from Menara KLCC to Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur in March this year.

“At Nobu Kuala Lumpur, we’re very particular about the dining experience being an enjoyable one and we pay a lot of attention to weightage and sequencing of food throughout a six-course menu. We also ensure that the flavour profiles of the drinks don’t just complement its partnering dish, but shape the experience as a whole,” reiterates Leong.

For example, the pairing of Chapoutier wine with Nobu Cheesecake. According to him, the wine’s light body and subtle floral hints make it an ideal match for the cake’s rich creaminess.

“And then there’s the Nobu Daiginjo TK40 premium sake, paired with Nobu's exclusive Chef's Sushi Selection. The sake is made from a rare rice grain named Koshi-Tanrei, which is polished to 40 per cent of its original size, creating a medium-bodied sake with a delicate texture and creamy finish. It perfectly accentuates the freshness of our sushi selection."

The Signature Creations Menu For Two also incorporates creations from the Nobu Now range. These are specialised dishes curated by Nobu restaurants around the world, which incorporate local flavours while staying true to the parent restaurant’s signature style. On this particular menu, the Angus Beef Tenderloin and Lobster Somen are inspired by char siew rice and prawn mee respectively.

“For first-time guests who aren’t familiar with our offerings, this menu is perfect as it features our staples, and will give them a good idea of the cuisine we serve," says Leong.

Nobu’s Signature Creations Menu is available until September 30, 2021. The restaurant is currently only available for dinner service until further notice. For enquiries, call +603-2380 0028, WhatsApp +6019-389-5085 or email nobuklreservations@noburestaurants.com.
