The Ritz-Carlton’s sky-high café adds an autumnal twist to its sweet afternoon offerings
Café 103 at the Ritz-Carlton in the ICC building is already well-established for its chocolate afternoon tea, and for the autumn season the hotel is debuting a special chocolate chestnut version to celebrate. The combination is a popular one, and executive pastry chef Richard Long has incorporated chestnut into every sweet offering on the tea menu. Some of the highlights include:
- Chestnut drop – a chocolate drop shaped like the nut with gold sprinkles and sea salt
- Pecan chestnut chocolate cake
- Chestnut confit cake
The set includes a choice of tea, coffee or Café 103’s signature hot chocolate, and is priced at HK$288 for one or HK$548 for two. You can also add HK$170 for a glass of Billecart Salmon Brut Reserve champagne or HK$288 for a glass of moscato d’Asti from La Spinetta.
