Unless you've been living in a hole, you're likely to have seen pictures—both original and photoshopped—of Bernie Sanders flooding the World Wide Web as of late. What catapulted the amiable American politician into the limelight is his endearing fashion sense (or lack of) at Inauguration Day 2021.
While some politicians and celebrities in attendance such as Michelle Obama and Lady Gaga chose to send messages across with their carefully considered garb, Senator Sanders looked snug as a bug on Capitol Hill in his olive green Burton winter jacket and mittens knitted by Jen Ellis, a school teacher and friend.
What we love about the Bernie Sanders meme more than anything is how it has infiltrated the kitchens of bakers worldwide. We daresay the results look downright delicious:
