Inspired by the traditional Taiwanese dish of three cup chicken, the executive chef has created a new soup base by first preparing a premium chicken stock cooked for 10 hours, then adding the juice of one whole young coconut, coconut milk, diced taro and corn together to create the marinade. This aromatic and silky soup base is then topped with a secret blend with breadcrumbs that are toasted until crispy and golden in the oven before serving.

Besides this new soup base, Megan’s Kitchen is also debuting new meatballs and dumplings inspired by famous Taipei dishes, such as three cup chicken meatballs, sauerkraut white pepper pork balls, sha cha oyster-stuffed beef balls, braised pork mushroom dumplings and fried egg with preserved radish pork dumplings. All of these creations are sure to remind you of your best trips to Taipei.

In addition, two kinds of vegetarian soup bases and new meatballs and dumplings made from OmniPork and OmniBurger are available. These healthy new products are also inspired by the Taiwanese cuisine: pineapple and walnut vegetarian OmniBurger meatballs and the vegetarian OmniPork dumplings with cordyceps flowers and fungus.
