Sijori Malay Eatery In Melbourne Is Winning Over Stomachs

A Malaysian restaurant is gaining recognition in Melbourne for serving up authentic eats from the region in the suburb of Bundoora.

Sijori Malay Eatery's signature dish is Laksa Johor, while other dishes such as mee jawa, cheesy beef murtabak and other classic Malaysian dishes are also hits.

The restaurant's popularity was reported by The Star and was even frequented by MasterChef Australia winner Diana Chan.

The Malaysian Durian Festival 2017 in China has won over locals, with Chinese official Wang Gebing declaring our country's king of fruit as the "best in the world".
