Eigo Yamaguchi brings over two decades of experience to the Kushiro team

Kushiro, the winner of Tatler Dining's Best New Restaurant (Reader's Choice) for 2022, has recently invited Japanese culinarian Eigo Yamaguchi to take the helm as Executive Sushi Chef.

Chef Yamaguchi has more than 20 years of experience, having served as head chef in a number of renowned restaurants and hotels across Japan, Italy, the United States, and China. In recent years, Yamaguchi served as the executive chef at Hanamiyama, a Japanese restaurant under the Sheraton brand of hotels; and as the head chef of Sushi Taro Ten, a premium sushi restaurant in Shanghai where he showcased his craftsmanship in traditional Edomae sushi and kaiseki cuisine.

Throughout the years, Yamaguchi has collaborated with various chefs globally to gain an international perspective on culinary craftsmanship and artistry. The addition of Chef Yamaguchi to the Kushiro's team only means the promise of more exquisite delicacies for the guest experience.
