New social distancing measures have become the new normal as Hong Kong's restaurant industry is slowly bouncing back. This November, with Christmas just around the corner, there is plenty to explore and plan ahead for the most anticipated festival and year end celebration to come. Assaggio's fresh black truffle pizza
Hong Kong Arts Centre's Assaggio offers this winter's first taste of black truffles. The Italian restaurant has launched a new Roman-style pizza topped with Italian sausage, three types of Italian cheeses (burrata, buffalo mozzarella and DOP taleggio), truffle caviar sauce, Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and a fresh egg yolk. The pizza is made to order, served with freshly shaved black truffles from France. The new fresh black truffle sprinkles pizza is priced at HK$628 each, available now.
Alba White Truffle Menu At La Table French Brasserie
From now until 12 December, La Table French Brasserie at New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel presents a five-course dinner set menu featuring prized white truffles from Alba, Italy. Guests can indulge in a refreshing starter of Hokkaido scallop carpaccio, followed by 65-degree poached organic egg and white truffle with Bayonne ham and brioche. White truffle risotto; Iberian pork with white truffle and cepes puree; and white truffle raspberry tartlet complete the five course menu, priced at HK$1,488 per person.
Soil To Soul Celebrates Christmas With Eight-Course Festive Menu
Inspired by Korean temple food, K11 Musea's Soil To Soul brings a contemporary twist to the traditional cuisine. The restaurant's first Christmas menu begins with Korean ginseng and chestnut soup; tofu and potato croquette; asparagus kimchi and the restaurant's most popular sweet and spicy mushroom dish. Four main courses follow, together with petit fours and specialty herbal tea. The festive menu is priced at HK$998 for lunch and HK$1,388 for dinner per person, with an optional six-glass wine pairing package at an additional HK$698 per person. The Christmas celebration menu is available from 16 to 31 December, 2020.
