The two chefs reinterpret classic Hong Kong dishes in their own image in the second edition of Tatler Dining's premium four-hands meal delivery box

Bringing four-hands dinners by Hong Kong's best-known chefs straight to your dining table, Off Menu At Home launched last week with an alluring four-course menu by Andō's Agustin Balbi and Embla chef-founder Jim Löfdahl, featuring intricate, transportive dishes that riffed on their shared Nordic, Spanish and Japanese influences.

Now, the second edition of Off Menu At Home brings the focus right back to the rich and heady cuisine of the city we call our home by partnering May Chow of Little Bao and Happy Paradise together with ArChan Chan of Ho Lee Fook to deliver a six-course Cantonese extravaganza perfect for sharing family-style.

Both chefs are highly accomplished champions of local cuisine in their own right: Chow shot to fame as Asia's Best Female Chef 2017 with her ingenious melding of traditional Cantonese cuisine with Hong Kong's modern, globalist outlook under her Little Bao and Happy Paradise brands; while ArChan Chan spent 13 years working in kitchens across Australia and Singapore and writing a cookbook on her favourite childhood Cantonese favourites, before returning to Hong Kong to head the kitchen at Ho Lee Fook.

This second edition of Off Menu At Home will be available from 30 March 2022 onwards, for one week only. Chow and Chan will be leading diners through the process of reheating and plating the dishes at home in a step-by-step video included with the menu so that you can enjoy the dishes as they would be served in the restaurants themselves. Five percent of proceeds will be donated to Food Angel 惜食堂.

About Off Menu At Home

Off Menu At Home is a fine dining delivery programme that brings together two renowned chefs every week to create a four-hands dinner in tandem, to be savoured in the comfort of your home. True to the name, the courses included in each box can't be ordered anywhere else and are available for that week only, providing guests with a snapshot into the culinary mindset of the two chefs during these extraordinary times we live in.

Each box is delivered straight to your door, and, with a little finishing and plating, can be enjoyed in no time at all. Just so the end result is exactly as the chefs intended, the menu included in each box will come with a QR code for a cooking video demonstration to follow; as well as fun and insightful bonus video content so that you can get to know the chefs a little better.

To share the love with the wider community, a portion of the proceeds will be donated each week to a charity organisation of the chefs' choosing.

What's in the box?

  1. Six limited-edition pre-cooked dishes
  2. Simple step-by-step instructions to reheat and plate your meal
  3. A pre-recorded video demo to walk you through creating the meal
  4. Optional: a bottle of wine selected by the sommeliers of the participating restaurants to pair with your meal
