The Central all-day dining venue brings together comfort food from around the world

After years of falling out of favour, food courts, it seems, are here to stay, thanks to a shift in the dining habits of millennials towards affordable, quality concepts offered within the same convenient space. Following the arrivals of Basehall in Jardine House, J.A.M. in Nexxus Building, and Food Playground in K11 Musea, Graham St Food Hall (GSFH) is now open on its namesake street in Central, serving up a selection of worldly dishes from five vendors in an all-day dining venue.

The five concepts are a mix between the new and the old, and encompass a wide range of global flavours. Smoke & Barrels ("the one with the S", as they call themselves) has been operating since last summer, doling out smokehouse beef brisket and sandwiches in the style of the American South, while La Viña has already built up a cult following for its signature Basque burnt cheesecake, which will be available in three sizes in original and seasonal flavours.

Then there's Motown Pizza & Wings, known for its square-shaped, Detroit-style pizzas and the option of ordering 48 wings at once; and Hambāgā, a new brand serving Japanese hamburg steak rice bowls that can be customised to each guest's tastes. Lastly, ex-El Celler de Can Roca pastry chef Jordi Roca's sustainable chocolate shop, Casa Cacao, is establishing a permanent location in GSFH after popping up at The Cupping Room in Harbour City in February. A drinks station also serves everything from frosé and Aperol spritz slushies, to a pickleback shot of bourbon, with 15 top-shelf varieties to choose from.

“Graham St Food Hall is more than just a home for our vendors who are serving fresh food made in-house daily,” says owner and founder Teddy Pun. “It’s also a place for our customers to unwind with comfort food from around the world at any time of day.”

To celebrate the opening, a launch party will be held on May 22, featuring free Wild Turkey and Aperol cocktails on a first-come-first-serve basis alongside specially priced BBQ platters from Smoke & Barrels. A hot wings challenge by Fiyah! Heat Store and beer shotgun challenge by Heroes Beer Co. will also offer a chance at greatness (and cash prizes) on the day. To find out more, head to
