After a successful pop-up last autumn in K11 Musea, Cookie Vission is opening up its own permanent shop in Tai Hang

The neighbourhood of Tai Hang has it all––casual restaurants, cosy coffee shops and independent stores, making it the perfect option for an afternoon of wandering––and now it has its own cookie shop. Open now, Hong Kong cookie maker Cookie Vission has set up its first bricks and mortar in the quaint neighbourhood, serving a menu of its signature baked goods and other new delights.

Baked fresh every hour––so you can be sure you’ll never be able to walk past without catching a waft of the heavenly scent––Cookie Vission will serve a daily rotation of eight to ten original flavours. Featuring its signature molten and gooey centre, don’t miss the Portuguese Egg Tart and Matcha Green Tea varieties, along with more classic flavours of Chocolate Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip Pecan.

To celebrate the grand opening, Cookie Vission will also be debuting its own new baked creation: the Pookie. Merging the worlds of cookies with puff pastry, pookies are described as classic cookies that have been wrapped in a caramelised exterior for a crispy on the outside and soft and gooey inside centre. Set to offer a new special every month, the first variety will be baked cheesecake with chocolate chip cookie.

If cookies and pookies aren’t enough of a sweet kick for you, the Tai Hang location will also showcase the aptly named named Big Boy Milkshake. This ice-cream based beverage is far from your average milkshake, taking things to the next level with various layers of indulgent toppings. The special for March, the cookies and cream milkshake, is topped with chocolate cake, chocolate fudge sauce, whipped cream, a slice of chocolate layer cake and mini cookies, with other flavours to follow including cookie dough and strawberry shortcake. Not stopping there when it comes to creative sweet treats, the new store will also serve homemade ice cream sandwiches, along with shoppers able to pick up raw cookie dough to take home and bake.

Refreshments such as hot chocolate with burnt oversized marshmallow, homemade lemonade and extra thick and creamy traditional milkshakes will also be on the menu to wash down the baked goods.

Cookie Vission is open now Monday to Sunday, 9am to 6pm, or until sold out (until 10 March, 2021), and Monday to Sunday 8:30am to 9pm (from 11 March, 2021)
