The Parisian restaurant in Wan Chai showcases a fine selection of Australian wines from the family-owned winery
On September 19, Chez Patrick, the French restaurant in Wan Chai, will be hosting an exclusive wine dinner with Clonakilla, a small, family-owned winery from the Canberra region in Australia known for its shiraz. The menu’s highlights include:
- Pan-seared foie gras and quince, salted caramel apple sauce, paired with a 2012 Nouveau
- Veal fillet and morels tartar and artichoke cappuccino, paired with a 2008 Hilltops Shiraz
- Stuffed lamb fillet with Rocamadour cheese and rosemary jus, paired with a 2008 O’Riada Shiraz
- Roasted black Angus prime rib with two sauces, shiraz and choron, paired with a 2010 Shiraz Viognier
As a French dinner would not be complete without a cheese course, the menu will end with St Nectaire cheese served with a 2005 Shiraz Viognier.
The six-course wine dinner is priced at HK$800 per head.
