Over two decades since it first opened its doors to the public, chef Margarita Fores' popular Italian restaurant thanks its loyal patrons with a slew of treats and a grand raffle

A longstanding favourite among fans of Italian cuisine, chef Margarita "Gaita" Fores' Cibo pulls out all the stops as it kick-started the celebrations for its 22nd anniversary at an exclusive media luncheon held on 31 July 2019 at its branch at the Uptown Mall in BGC.

Chef Gaita herself was on hand to thank guests and loyal patrons for supporting the caffe-paninoteca chain which has gone from strength to strength over the past two decades. At the same time, she announced the further expansion of the restaurant chain by way of new branches at Ayala Malls The 30th, Evia Lifestyle Mall, and Ayala Vertis North, along with a provincial outpost at the Ayala Capitol Centre in Bacolod.

The event was also graced by HE Giorgio Guglielmo, Ambassador of Italy to the Philippines.

The event also marked the launch of two key promotions: the Php 22 "Dining Seat Sale" and the concurrent Fly to Rome Raffle.

From 1st August to 30th September 2019, diners can enjoy some of Cibo's most popular dishes for just Php 22.00. Customers must purchase the consumable Cibo Gift Card which comes with a "boarding pass" and use it at any of the restaurant's branches to enjoy any of the 10 menu items covered under the promotion.

As if that wasn't exciting enough, Cibo ups the ante with a raffle wherein the grand prize is an all-expenses-paid trip for two to Rome via Cathay Pacific. For the raffle, diners who use the Dining Seat Sale boarding pass are automatically entitled to one raffle entry. Otherwise, diners must spend a minimum of Php 2,000 on a single receipt to join the raffle. Winners will be announced on 14 October 2019.

Guests enjoyed a delectable spread of Cibo classics, including an excellent pizza Margherita, Roman-style panini filled with crispy skinned porchetta, and gelati for afters. It was a delicious way to celebrate a restaurant that has won its way into the hearts and bellies of an appreciative public.
