The new establishment is part of a new trio of restaurants set to open at the local heritage complex

The Queen, a new Chinese restaurant, is set to open at FWD House 1881 in Tsim Sha Tsui this summer. Formerly known as the Hong Kong Marine Police Headquarters and Hullett House, FWD House 1881 is also home to the renowned The Araki , as well as a handful of new upcoming restaurants such as French restaurant Odea, meat-focused The Steak Room, and bar concept The Cell. The Queen is where traditional Cantonese dishes and dim sum are the main focus of the establishment.

The new regional Chinese restaurant is headed by a team of experienced chefs led by chef Ki Pak Chan, formerly at Wynn Macau’s Wing Lei; Lee Chi-Kwong, formerly of Mongkok’s Chuan Palace, and chef Saito Chau of Maximal Concepts’ John Anthony. Together the trio will present a vibrant selection of Cantonese and regional Chinese dishes, seafood dishes and contemporary dim sum. Notable highlights from the restaurant’s menu include beetroot and wild mushroom dumplings; kimchi radish cake; steamed Shanghainese dumpling with spicy soup; black truffle crispy chicken with chive sauce and Sichuan style lobster and tofu.

The Queen opens daily for both lunch and dinner.
