In light of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, The RuMa Hotel and Residences and Goutal Paris are proud to present the Rose Pompon Afternoon Tea. Available exclusively at the LIBRARI, this collaboration will run from Oct 3-31, 2020.

The name ‘Rose Pompon’ is not without significance; the perfume is a favoured scent of Goutal herself, who sadly passed away as a result of breast cancer in 1999. Ten per cent of sales from the collaboration will be donated to the Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA) Malaysia.

Adorned with rose-pink blossoms, the international colour of breast cancer awareness, the LIBRARI has been transformed for the event. What were once books have been replaced with flowers and fragrances.

As you sip your tea, indulge in a crafted selection of sweet and savoury treats—all in different hues of pink. A gorgeous Strawberry Lychee Cake sits on the top tier of the tea set, alongside Pink Guava Paris-Brests and Rose Macarons. The selection also includes canapés such as Heirloom Tomato Bruschettas, Roasted Beetroot Tarts and House Cured Salmon, set prettily atop a vibrant pink crisp. Break open an unassuming fruit scone, and you’re in for a surprise. Tinted pink, the insides are best spread with house-made fruit preserves and clotted cream.

The enchanting experience is priced at RM130 per head. Guests will also receive a sample of the Rose Pompon fragrance and a voucher for Kens Apothecary worth RM50.
