Previously known as Picha Project, social enterprise PichaEats empowers marginalised and refugee women by making their respective cuisines available to curious gourmands; think Afghani dumplings, Syrian sweets, Palestinian shawarma wraps, and much more.
The girls behind The Joy Box and PichaEats have cooked up a halal gift box leading up to Hari Raya 2020. Proceeds will be divided between social enterprise E-Illuminate, whose mission is to empower refugees with better education, and PichaEats, in support of its work with refugee chefs.
