Named for the tiny hairs on their claws, hairy crabs have long been considered a delicacy in China. These freshwater crustaceans are highly valued as they are in season for a short period every year, between the ninth and eleventh months of the Chinese Lunar calendar.

At Shanghai, Executive Chinese Chef Wong Wing Yeuk and his dedicated team showcase the succulent meat and rich roe of these crabs in a series of elaborate dishes, from steamed Shanghainese Meat Dumplings with Hairy Crab Roe to Steamed Shanghainese Hairy Crab, and many more.

PRICES
Ranging from RM20-RM160 per dish.
