Nexus in Bangsar South proves to be one of those places with something for everybody, with its long list of restaurants serving an equally wide variety of cuisines. Here are 5 that got our attention out of the long list.

Dao Xiang Chinese Cuisine features the wonders of Shunde cuisine, an exquisite form of minimalist Cantonese cooking originating from the city of Guangzhou. Highlighting the menu is the classic Shunde copper hot pot, a delicacy cooked inside a copper pan using the freshest seafood and meat available. 2. Japanese: Edo Ichi

At first glance, its generic looks belie the distinctiveness of this outlet, which could be mistaken for something less illustrious, but if you give it a chance and step inside, you'll be pleasantly surprised with how massive the menu is, even by Japanese standards. Conventional sushi possibilities are endless as are sashimi and sweet seafood surprises. Find them here

3. Chinese Muslim: Amber

Got Muslim friends craving for Chinese food? Amber Chinese Muslim Restaurant has got you covered with its authentic Chinese flavours, only slightly tweaked in terms of ingredients to meet the food restrictions of our Muslim friends. On its menu, we spot the popular Szechuan sour and spicy broth noodles, sambal wok-fried prawns, mapo spicy tofu and more. Make your reservations here.

4. Malaysian: MALas

A wide and welcoming range of beer on tap and through bottles may be headline acts here, but succulent mussels, crispy roasted pork and German sausages are no losers either. Foods here are meant to be taken with beer and pairing the two will only result in a match made heaven. Find out more here.
