The virtual cocktail party will be hosted by the 28HKS bar family, who has curated cocktails, light bites and games to enjoy with your friends
We still have a long way to go in our battle against Covid-19, and means we need to wait a bit longer to enjoy social activities such as hanging out with friends at our favourite bars. To tide ourselves over until that time comes, 28 HongKong Street (28HKS) has brought back its House Party, a virtual cocktail experience you can enjoy with six to 16 friends in the comforts of your own homes.
“Bars have always existed to bring people together and the magical interactions that are possible—that’s what we want to provide with House Party,” explained Justin Pallack, the general manager of 28HKS. Though it was launched last year during the circuit breaker period, it has been revived during Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) because of popular demand. That said, the team is offering new nibbles and cocktails for takeaway and delivery.
Round up your friends and take part in this virtual session, hosted by 28HKS’ bar family who has even prepared games and a curated music playlist. Everyone will receive two cocktails served with ice, a bottle of 28 Pilsner, a bottle of Perrier, and a jar of 28’s fancy nuts and garden chips.
Hungry for more? It’s possible to expand the virtual feast by ordering from the à la carte menu. Start with the signature tipples including Lazy Bear, a concoction of Widges Gin, Mancino Bianco Vermouth, peach liqueur and French herbs, or The Fess, made with Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva Rum, Italian bitters, dark chocolate and sea salt.
But if you’d rather try something new, you can go for Coppertone No. 2, a Piña Colada-inspired Old Fashioned that is blended with Plantation Pineapple & XO rums, coconut and baking spice, or Bobby Burns, a classic Scotch smoky concoction that has Mackintosh Blended Malt, Smokey Monkey, Mancino Rosso Vermouth, Benedictine and Amaro.
