This year's Madrid Fusion Manila finally opened their expo doors to culinary experts and foodies alike - we round up some of the things you can't miss on your next visit!

Madrid Fusion Manila 2017 starts strong with an expo that showcases a wide-range of local and foreign products - from kitchenware, cooking garb, and cookbooks, all the way to local wines and some exquisite foodie finds. Philippine Tatler gives you a peek into the expo and some of the interesting produce and products that caught our eye:

Calaboo Sansrival

This Calaboo sansrival was definitely a show-stopper! Founded by Marie Cavosora, Calaboo Creamery has been known for their quality dairy products and the Filipino spirit they put into their work and produce. Visit them at the Department of Agriculture booth! 


Duhat Wine

This delightful set of local wines certainly captured our eye! The duhat wine was especially interesting as it tasted sweet and fruity - perhaps it could be paired with a selection of desserts. Check it out at the Department of Agriculture Booth. 


Destileria Limtuaco

Serving up tropical flair at the expo, Destileria Limtauco was a definite stand-out with their local spirits and liqueurs.

Upon entering the expo, the Department of Agriculture Booth greets you immediately with fresh organic produce and tons of local food finds. Their beautiful market set-up is also perfect backdrop for fun shopping. 


Department of Tourism Booth

Department of Tourism  Booth.jpg Not to be outdone, the Department of Tourism put up a nipa-hut inspired produce booth, showcasing several products from different merchants and artisans. Don't forget to stop by and perhaps take a quick selfie! 


Just Coco

Not to miss is the Just Coco coconut water bottles. Especially in this summer heat, it's a sure-shot refreshment. Make sure to grab one!


Kitchen Bookstore

Gracing the Madrid Fusion expo floors is The Kitchen Bookstore -- perfect for those on the hunt for some inspirational chef autobiographies, or books on food and wine.

It's not very hard to miss with its festive set-up and energetic staff. The La Lola group pumps up the volume with their gin concoctions, and spanish cuisine. 


Terry'sTerrys.jpg Javier Ordas and Cedric Chazalet of Terry's Bistro smile as they pose with their Philippine Tatler Best Restaurants Guide Top 20 Award. Their booth, Terry Selections offers a large variety of wine, and delicatessen choices. To try out more of their exquisite cuisine, visit Terry's Bistro at any of their three branches (Salcedo Village, Pasong Tamo, Ortigas).

The expo was certainly not lacking when it comes to the freshest vegetable produce from all over the Philippines. In this photo are just some of the vibrant finds at the One Mindanao Booth. Also great to check out is the Kai Farms Booth with organic products imported from Baguio City.
