The bright and airy dining room at Como Cuisine is well-suited to an international menu that embraces the most popular dishes at each of Como’s resorts around the world—from the Maldives and Thailand to Bali and Italy. This does make a meal here eclectic, with options like samosas generously stuffed with spiced lamb and served with a tangy mango chutney and refreshing mint raita, as well as yellowfin tuna tataki bowl filled with shredded vegetables and accompanied by a flavourful Japanese-inspired dressing. Service is warm, plates are full of flavour (despite most erring on the side of healthy and tending towards comforting rather than innovative), and there’s an effort to use local, organic, in-season produce where possible. The wine list is decent and, like the food menu, there’s something to suit a range of palates. For those eschewing alcohol, there’s a good range of soft options.
