Behind an unassuming set of cabinet doors in Chinatown, you'll find a hidden cocktail bar by the name of Cabinet 8 KL. Having first made their entrance into the bar scene in Johor Bahru, they expanded into Kuala Lumpur. At the helm is self-taught mixologist Justin Tay who wants to pay homage to Malaysia's rich culinary heritage through inventive cocktails. For an authentic taste of local street food, try the Double Special, a savoury cocktail inspired by the iconic Ramly Burger, featuring local onions, pickled cucumber, and Maggi seasoning—a true tribute to Malaysia’s beloved street food culture.
