Housed within an elegant colonial-era black-and-white bungalow on Scotts Road, Buona Terra remains one of Singapore’s most consistently refined Italian destinations. Resident chef Denis Lucchi manages a delicate balancing act—honouring his Northern Italian heritage while embracing a contemporary lightness that feels entirely current. The Chef Experience menu is a cohesive journey that feels both substantial and light. The barbabietola (beetroot) is a vibrant study in earthy sweetness, while the wagyu is a standout—featuring exquisite A5 Kagoshima beef with exceptional marbling, paired with cabbage and a velvety potato cream. The richness of the beef fat is beautifully balanced by a smooth potato cream and the slight bitterness of cabbage. Service is immaculate; the staff are observant and knowledgeable without the scripted stiffness.
