Restaurant
Blackbird at The Nielson Tower
As the recipient of this year's Best Service Award, an elegant meal at Blackbird never disappoints
Tatler Says
Housed in the beautifully restored Nielson Tower, the country’s first commercial airport, Blackbird maintains the integrity of its original art deco design. The à la carte menu displays European classics with a reimagined contemporary Asian flair. Sugar cane prawns and fried Vietnamese spring rolls are crowd-pleasers, much like the salmon fillet with asparagus and green goddess potato salad. For a tropical meal ender, the passionfruit lamington with mango gelato and coconut crumbs will not disappoint.
Signature Dishes
- Chicken noodle soup, prawn fritters
- Grilled seafood platter with nuoc cham
- Burnt butter semifreddo
Tatler Tips
For an amazing treat for two, order the exquisite Blackbird seafood platter with grilled tiger prawns, mackerel, octopus, and salt and pepper soft shell crab well in advance of your visit.
