Beni is a breath of fresh air amongst the clouds in Genting

Stepping into one of the private room sin Beni certainly takes you away from the hustle and bustle of Genting Sky Avenue. Sigh in relief as you enter an oasis of calm and quiet, with dark walls and stylish décor. There is definitely a wide variety of set and degustation menus here to accommodate a range of budgets and belly capacities. The plating of the dishes are certainly pleasing to the eye (and the Gram!) although it's a case of hit and miss with some of their dishes. Highlights of the meal include the Trio Plein de Saveurs, an interesting assortment of butter paired with warm buns that are a testament to Beni's expertise as a bakery. Also enjoy their signature Mushroom Quartet, a simple cold soup that's a burst of flavour with every spoonful. As it stands, Beni is a breath of fresh air: a cosy fine dining experience that contrasts strongly with all of the family-oriented, chain establishments here.

IN THE KNOW

Beni's trademark baos are made with faluche bread form northern France. Foie gras and truffle pate give this pastry an extra touch of class.

TATLER TIP

Perhaps due to the fact that it's relatively new, Beni has a rather limited wine selection. For now, it might be better to skip the wine pairing option.
