Bar Juniper

Established by the pioneer of Japan’s gin movement Masatsugu Kawasaki, Bar Juniper is named after the main aromatic component of gin. Its vibe is part-speakeasy, part-apothecary, or even laboratory, and it has focused on offering a wide selection of gin since it opened in 2011, with more than 800 bottles, including more than 100 Japanese varieties. The signature cocktails deploy Japanese ingredients, such as matcha and shiso, while gin and coffee cocktails have been a more recent focus. The bar works alongside Japanese gin makers to create original gins that are only available there.
