Visit in the evening for subdued lighting, plush seating and that high-rise panorama that conspires to make you feel as though you’ve escaped the city rather than dined within it. Helmed by head chef Federico Schiraldi, the food is as Italian as it gets. The insalata di pollo e patate (chicken and potato salad) is crisp and bright, while the tagliata di manzo, rucola e balsamico is another standout—beautifully grilled beef, fresh peppery rocket, intensely sweet cherry tomatoes and a bold Lambrusco-style balsamic that elevates every bite. For dessert, the tiramisu is well balanced with espresso-kissed cream and cocoa, but it’s the burrata cheesecake that truly steals the show.
