About Us

Founded in 2008, interior design firm Prestige Global Designs centres its philosophy around “the transformation of ordinary ideas into something extraordinary,” with a focus on balancing luxurious aesthetics with contemporary functionality and thoughtful personalisation. “Our objective is to create bespoke designs that are truly exceptional for our clients,” founders-cum-directors Michael Ong and Jeremy Tay share. Excellence in design and impeccable attention to detail characterise every project from start to finish, with a skilled team that ensures a smooth and carefully tailored design journey.

A London-trained and award-winning interior designer, Ong is a master of a wide variety of design styles, from modern to classic, straying from banal iterations and instead infusing his work with nuance and versatility. His penchant for opulence and grasp of timeless elegance are palpable in every project he undertakes, always devising bespoke design solutions for both private residential and commercial spaces.

The other mastermind behind the firm, Tay initially studied biotechnology in Australia, then ultimately chose to follow his passion, dedicating himself fully to interior design. He now breathes his heart and soul into Prestige Global Designs, leading the firm’s premium projects in the region.

“We are dedicated to staying at the forefront of the design industry, constantly innovating and pushing the boundaries of what is possible. We are passionate about our work and strive to create designs that leave a lasting impression on our clients and the industry as a whole,” Ong and Tay add. “We enjoy working with different materials, textures, colours, and shapes, and we have a strong desire to improve people’s living and working environments.”

The team also loves a good challenge, particularly when it exposes them to new requirements, preferences and lifestyles. “Understanding these differences expands our horizons to appreciate different aspects of life,” they explain. Having the opportunity to turn their clients’ dream homes into reality is what inspired the two directors to become designers in the first place, exploring new ideas without ever restricting their creative visions or limiting themselves to fixed rules. They don’t just aim to complete projects but to exceed their clients’ expectations at every turn.

What runs through every one of their projects and signifies the ethos of Prestige Global Designs is not a particular aesthetic direction but simply a sense of functionality underscored by a touch of luxury that elevates every property.
