At JwVincent, luxury is treated as something bespoke, shaped by the client's brief, the site's opportunities, and the way a person actually lives. “See with your heart and not your eyes and feel how the space speaks to you,” describes co-founders Vincent Goi and Catherine Low of their guiding motto, which is rooted in empathy and intuition.

Goi's path to design began early, nurtured through the Art Elective Programme in his secondary and junior college years, before curiosity about the built environment led him to read architecture at the National University of Singapore, where he went on to complete both a bachelor's and master's degree. The considered spaces of Japanese masters such as Tadao Ando and SANAA left a lasting impression on him, one that continues to inform the firm's direction today. He went on to hone his craft at RSP Architects, gaining further experience in Shanghai, where he developed a deep fluency in global design brands and the finest materials and furniture from around the world. Goi has lectured as a BCA Academy Adjunct Lecturer and hosted 7/10 Min With Arkhilite C, a series of interviews with entrepreneurs and craftsmen.

Low's calling arrived even earlier. She recalls being certain from a young age that she would become an interior designer, having written it down as a childhood ambition, and she has carried that same fascination with spatial aesthetics and the details behind good design into her career since. She has lent her expertise to numerous high-profile showflat projects, bringing a meticulous command of construction detailing and M&E knowledge that allows her to translate complex design visions into built reality, often working closely alongside contractors to do so. In addition, Low has both expertise and passion for luxury and classic furniture design, which has proved crucial in her line of work.

Together, the pair have built a practice defined by its ability to render the intangible idea of luxury into something highly personal and material. JwVincent’s work is distinguished by a careful balance of uncompromised functionality and refined atmosphere, whether that calls for sourcing rare international materials or mastering intricate architectural detail. Each project, the studio believes, should become a physical reflection of what luxury means to the people who will actually live there.
