Seda celebrates its 10th anniversary and quick recovery from the pandemic era with upcoming additional milestones for the next two years
Ayala Land, Inc.’s Seda Hotels is looking forward to its next decade of growth as a top destination which provides world-class hospitality for the last 10 years. It is the homegrown brand’s mission to make you feel like you’re at home, away from your own home. Seda’s hotels which are strategically located within the central business district of key cities within the Philippines offer an unmatched experience of high-quality service and top-of-the-line comfort for all types of travellers regardless of their journey’s purpose.
Whether a businessman from Makati is set to have meetings at Bacolod, Iloilo and Cagayan de Oro, company directors are flying in from overseas to introduce themselves to their Filipino team at Davao, a two-day event at Laguna must be attended, big families from the opposites of Cebu will hold their reunion, a friend will celebrate his birthday at Straight Up rooftop bar, a well-deserved vacation to Palawan is called for, or a family decides to spend quality time through a staycation within their resident’s same location at Quezon City; Seda’s hotels are undeniably the first that comes to mind.

And as much as the love and loyalty for Seda heightens, the Seda group gets more committed to stepping up their game. Marking their 10th anniversary and success in the hospitality industry, Ayala Land senior group general manager Andrea Mastellone enthusiastically announced that Seda will add 550 more rooms to its portfolio this coming 2023: 200 rooms dedicated to Seda Nuvali as one of the known wedding destinations of the South, and 350 rooms designated for the soon to open Seda Manila Bay, an alternative to the casino hotels within the area.
By 2024, the flagship Seda One Ayala at the Edsa gateway is also expected to be established at the former site of the InterContinental Manila.
Another good news is one for the patrons who are significantly growing in number. The Seda Edge loyalty program which has almost 100,000 repeat customers will be soon giving the highest recognition to a third tier, Elite level members who patronize any one or more of the 11 Seda hotels 30 room nights in a year.
With all the support and achievements that the hotels have received throughout the years, the Seda group warmly expressed their gratitude to their very own teams, appreciation for the media, and acknowledgement to the Filipino culture and for the environment which makes their hospitality line definitely one-of-a-kind.
Mastellone revealed that Seda has shifted to source electricity from suppliers that provide renewable and green energy, reducing carbon footprint in devotion of operating sustainably. In further effort of Seda’s corporate social responsibility, its BGC property has an electric vehicle charging station as part of an Ayala group initiative and upholds a program with the Philippine Eagle Foundation to preserve the endangered species. The commitment led Seda to adopt a Philippine Eagle named Mayumi which will be the hotels’ new brand ambassador and will be featured in the brand’s promotional and other materials. Just like the majestic bird species exclusive to the Philippines, Seda is a brand that is “uniquely Filipino and representative of the strengths of this country,” said Mastellone.
Revenge travel will truly be satisfying when spent at Seda.
