1. Rimowa x Dior

Since joining the LVMH stable in 2016, luxury suitcase brand Rimowa has come to be known for its various collaborations, from American streetwear label Off-White to Italian fashion house Fendi. This November, Rimowa debuts yet another luxury collaboration, this time with French maison Dior. With Dior Men artistic director Kim Jones at the creative helm of the project, the capsule collection introduces Rimowa’s signature cabin, trunk and hand case designs, reimagined in Dior’s oblique motif, created for the label by Marc Bohan in 1967.

The aluminium suitcases come in silver, matte black and gradient blue. Also in the collection are accessories like a personal clutch and champagne case. Pre-launched at Dior’s Champs-Elysées store in late October, it will launch next in Shibuya Parco, Tokyo, on November 22.

2. Rimowa x Supreme

Collaborating with Rimowa once again for fall/winter 2019 is cult streetwear label Supreme. Steering away from logo-heavy suitcases that were instantly sold out when they debuted their first collaboration in 2018, this season’s collection is comparably understated.

Rimowa’s Check-in L and Cabin Plus aluminium suitcases in cool, matte black are emblazoned with spider web motifs, with a single Supreme logo in white at the bottom. The luggage comes with co-branded leather tags, a logo-jacquard fabric lining, and of course, Rimowa’s Flex Divider system.

3. Away’s The Expandables

Best known for its hard-shell polycarbonate cases, Away has launched a new collection of soft-sided woven nylon luggage which are expandable for an impressive 1.75 inches of space—great news for over-packers.

Staying consistent with its trademark aesthetic, the suitcases feature horizontal ridges in the same four sizes as its hardshell counterparts, with four fall/winter-ready colours—black, navy, green, and asphalt.

4. Tumi x Chris Pratt

In a surprising collaboration between Tumi creative director Victor Sanz and Hollywood actor Chris Pratt, the two have created a nine-piece capsule collection exclusively for Asia Pacific and the Middle East, inspired by the actor’s jet-setting lifestyle.

Tumi’s Alpha Bravo is the muse of the collection’s Short Trip Front Lid Expandable Packing Case and International Front Lid Expandable Carry On, which offer convenient access to the main compartment from both a split case opening and a front lid opening. Inside, pop-up flaps help to organise and compartmentalise belongings, with a zipper expansion for an extra two inches of space. Other accessories include a two-in-one backpack duffel and packing cubes.
