Developed by Orbital Assembly Corporation, the ambitious space hotel project is expected to begin in 2025 and be completed in 2027 with a slew of luxury amenities

For top-tier travellers who feel like they’ve already visited every destination on Earth, we’ve got some exciting news to share with you. In 2027, space construction company Orbital Assembly Corporation will launch a luxury space hotel called Voyager Station in low Earth orbit, which might just be the most coveted, fanciest travel experience of the decade to add to your bucket list.

Dubbed “world’s first luxury space hotel”, Voyager Station will able to accommodate up to 400 guests, allowing guests to soar miles above the Earth’s surface and enjoy epic views of the cosmos. In addition to offering rooms and suites, the hotel will also feature all the luxury amenities you could possibly desire, such as restaurants, bars, cinema, gym, Earth-viewing lounges, concert venues and even a health spa with necessities including crew quarters, air, water and power provided.

The construction of Voyager Class will begin in 2025 and be completed in 2027. Featuring a unique rotational design to generate artificial gravity that will be set at a similar level to the gravity found on the moon, the hotel will cruise around the whole world every 90 minutes and allow guests to check-in at the hotel effortlessly without any prior astronaut training.

“Voyager Station is a rotating space station designed to produce varying levels of artificial gravity by increasing or decreasing the rate of rotation. Artificial, or simulated, gravity is essential to long term habitation in space,” the official website explains. “The station has been designed from the start to accommodate business, manufacturing, national space agencies conducting low gravity research, and space tourists who want to experience life on a large space station with the comfort of low gravity and the feel of a luxury hotel.”

Fancy a taste of the future and want to book a stay at the hotel for an out-of-the-world travel experience? Visit the hotel’s official website here to learn more about the project and stay tuned for more updates
