A real head-turner at the championship was Nacho Figueras, an Argentine polo player, Ralph Lauren model and close friend of Prince Harry. An icon of the annual St. Regis World Snow Polo Championship, Nacho has been a St. Regis Connoisseur and captaining the St. Regis team since 2010.

This year, Nacho celebrated the snow polo event with his wife Delfina Blaquier, St. Regis Hotels & Resorts Global Brand Leader Lisa Holladay, and Aspen Valley Polo Club Owners Marc and Melissa Ganzi, who also played in the tournament.

Inside the exclusive St. Regis VIP tent was an Alpine glam oasis adorned with fluffy fur throws and an exquisite antler bedecked bar, where spectators could get close to the action while dining on gourmet bites, alongside St. Regis’ signature Bloody Mary, flowing champagne and a hot chocolate bar.

The glamour of the snow polo tournament can only be matched by staying at The St. Regis Aspen—a quintessential ski resort that does alpine luxury like no other. Nestled at the base of Aspen mountain, the manor style hotel is walking distance from Aspen’s signature slopes and shopping area, providing an uncompromising base for travellers to explore the luxe Colorado ski town.

Remède Spa offers world-class spa treatments for the perfect relaxation after a day on the slopes, and we recommend treating yourself with a glass of champagne while curling up under the luxurious throws at the oxygen lounge.

A private fine dining experience in the yurt village by Eleven Madison Park’s exclusive pop-up is not to be missed, which also features a cosy yurt bar serving up après-ski cocktails—and even a house-made shot ski for those looking for an extra kick.
